LEARN TO SEW Bag Making Class Tuesday 5th August 2025

This class will be held at the Horsehair & Hessian workshop in Tostock Suffolk

On Tuesday 5th August 9.30-4pm

The class is limited to 5 people so everyone gets plenty of help 

The course is designed for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their sewing skills

I’ll guide you through the basics of using a sewing machine, including how to thread, fill a bobbin and sew a variety of stitches.

You’ll then be shown how to make a small useful lined bag. I’ll take you through how to sew seams, attach a lining and straps 

Then you’ll be ready to take on a zips .

 The second make of the day will be a lovely lined make-up bag, complete with a zip

You will leave with two gorgeous bags🌸

These make fabulous presents and are great for using up all your scraps of left over fabrics 

All fabric and zips are included in this course
